TEENS BATTLING CANCER GET TOGETHER FOR A HOLIDAY DINNER

Teens with Cancer from Denver Children‚ Hospital are Treated to a Holiday Feast by the Foundation for Children with Cancer On Thursday, December 1st, three limousines will pick up 40 teen oncology patients from Denver Children‚ Hospital, and chaperoning social workers, and whisk them to Rodizio Grill, the Brazilian Steak House for a Holiday feast. The teens will have the opportunity to dine and socialize with other teens and young adults who are having some of the same experiences while battling cancer. The Foundation for Children with Cancer (FCC) is hosting the event, honoring these brave teens and their journey through cancer treatment. FCC, a program of Reach Our Children, a non-profit organization, is dedicated to providing children, and families of children with cancer some joy and relief while they deal with not only the emotional burdens of cancer, but the financial burdens as well. FCC assists families with such needs as paying utility bills, mortgage payments and travel expenses to and from treatment, and granting the wishes of children battling cancer.
