Internship Opportunities
FCC has a variety of internship positions available year-round. We are currently accepting applications for the following position(s):
Development/Communications Intern:
The development/communications intern for the Foundation for Children with Cancer (FCC) will assist the FCC staff, and operate under the direction of the Director of Development. The following are a few of the projects the intern will assist in:
- Fundraisers:
- Hats On Day- over 1,000 schools from 50 states participate
- Children are Golden Campaign- Schools sell gold ribbons for $1.00 each
- Event planning:
- Wine Tasting
- Murder Mystery Party
- Golf Tournament
- Communication with hospital social workers regarding our Financial Assistance Program
- Communication with schools across the country, regarding Hats on Day and the Children Are Golden campaign
- Outcome analysis- identifying trends in the children who use our financial assistance program
- Minor receptionist duties and data entry (Microsoft Excel and Access)
