When kids have to deal with cancer, their entire families have to deal with cancer.  In 1995, four sixth graders in St. Louis, MO, understood this simple fact better than any adult every could. They saw their friend and his family suffer from non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma – and did something incredible.  They founded a movement that has spread nationwide – Hats On Day.

This simple fundraiser, inspired by the love and generosity of four children, has raised more than a million dollars and has helped thousands of families since then.  We invite you to celebrate the initiative  these impressive young people took.  Not only will you and your students be providing much-needed support to children with cancer and their families, you’ll send an unmistakable message to your students—that they can change the world and build a legacy…right now.

Hats On Day is incredibly simple and easy to implement. . You will be provided with a complete promotion kit that outlines all the details and provides you with a ready-to-go communications package.  The concept is simple—ask kids to pay a dollar or two to wear a hat to school.  That’s it!  Nothing to sell.  No need to collect orders and stage product distribution.  Not door-to-door selling.  Just a simple, fun day that your students will love!
